We're confident you'll love PrivGuard. If you're not completely satisfied with our service, we offer a full refund within 30 days of your initial subscription.

This guarantee is available to first-time subscribers only and applies to your initial subscription payment.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be a first-time PrivGuard subscriber
  • Refund request must be made within 30 days of your initial subscription date
  • No questions asked - we'll process your refund promptly

The 30-day period begins on the date your subscription is activated, not the date of account creation.

2. What's NOT Refundable

As a digital service, certain aspects of PrivGuard are not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscription Renewals: Monthly subscription renewals after your initial 30-day period are not refundable.
  • Partial Month Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
  • Services Already Delivered: Deletion request emails that have already been sent to data brokers cannot be "returned" or refunded separately.
  • Multiple Refund Requests: The 30-day money-back guarantee is limited to one use per customer.

Important Note: While individual deletion request emails cannot be refunded, your entire subscription (including all services provided) is covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers.

3. How to Request a Refund

Requesting a refund is simple and straightforward:

4. Service Cancellation

You can cancel your PrivGuard subscription at any time, even if you're not requesting a refund:

What Happens After Cancellation:

  • Your access continues until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges will be made to your payment method
  • Your account data is retained for 90 days to complete any pending deletion requests
  • After 90 days, your personal data is permanently deleted (unless required by law)

Note: Cancelling your subscription does not automatically trigger a refund. If you're within the 30-day guarantee period and want a refund, please follow the refund request process in Section 3.

  • Confirmation: 1-2 business days after your refund request
  • Processing: 5-10 business days from confirmation
  • Bank/Card Processing: Additional 3-5 business days depending on your financial institution

Refund Method:

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the subscription:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunded to the same card
  • PayPal: Refunded to your PayPal account
  • Cryptocurrency: Refunded to the original wallet address (subject to network fees)

Payment Method Changed? If your original payment method is no longer valid, please contact us at support@privguard.dev to arrange an alternative refund method.
